Performance and Improvement

It’s been another very successful year at Filton Avenue Primary School as we continue to make year on year improvements to outcomes since the merger of the schools in September 2015.

As you will see from the data below we have made accelerated and sustained improvements to our Key Stage 2 outcomes; Key Stage 1 outcomes are improving too; Phonics Screening Check outcomes remain the same as last year; our end of EYFS outcomes show our pupils achieving their highest ever Good Level of Development (GLD).

As you can also see, all our outcomes compare favourably with local authority (LA) and national averages. We won’t, however, be resting on our laurels, as we continue to strive to improve outcomes further next year.
