School closed on Tuesday 5th July due to Industrial Action

The National Union of Teachers will be taking industrial action (a one day strike) on Tuesday 5^th July which will result in class or whole school closures across England.

We are aware that school closures inconvenience parents and carers, however the number of staff who have indicated to the union that they will strike is such that we cannot safely operate the school and therefore we will be forced to close the school on Tuesday 5^th July.

• The sports day for years 2 and 3 will be re-arranged for another date.
• The Year 6 Barton Camp will go ahead as planned on Monday and will be unaffected by the strike.

If the union calls off their industrial action we will let you know as soon as possible.
